How? I Apply the Fragrance

Citrus introduces the oakmoss and then oud. Both of the latter are played out the entire fragrance. Slight rose is noticed here, beginning the touches of Eastern infusion with soft sweet woods. Heart notes of oud beg to take center stage and give way to pushing up metallic-like florals of violet and lavender. A little smoke and touch of camphor and a dried ozone oud and oakmoss fade out slowly on skin like the winding fire of the night. A true Malaysian-infused chypre that is belted around with oud. This is the Taha I know; highlighting all the classics yet putting his Malay fingerprint on things. Restrained and high class; this is another for the books. The base of white ambergris, oakmoss, and oud is a mattress I want to spend the rest of my life on. This is an overall clean chypre that bubbles its way to the top of the category in the fragrance chain.

  1. This is the one I predict I like the most. I will get them Tuesday. you accidentally put neriko in your score graphic instead of agar parisien. cant wait to try it

  2. BOOM… you guessed MALAYSIAN oud, you guessed Lavender (and I didn't mention either in the description), and you got them right!
    ????
If there was ever a video that could take a place of a product writeup, this video here is it. ????

    1. Yeah heard there was an attar of this. Would love to have that to layer with and compare against as we know from other spray and attar offer different experiences. So I'm guessing Oud Fougere is next up????

  3. Another great review I’m only new to the world of fragrance but I very quickly acknowledge the chalk and cheese difference between niche/naturals and designers I do lean more to the weird and wonderful scents of niche however I am fully aware of designers place for the vast majority of fragrance lovers and do of course enjoy my designer days when out in the realm of the sensitive noses and personal space invaders lol my alone time is my fragrance shine time my world of awe and wonder my safe place my desert island if you will jeez I went on a bit there Sorry bout that B may your god keep you safe .lynch out????????????

    1. Thanks Bren. Make comments as long as you like:) Most of the stuff I have been reviewing is at the top of the chain for naturals. You just can't beat the ingredients that's in hear thus the price. Feel free to ask questions and where to start. Definitely don't recommend blind buying. Taha's stuff is different and packed with top shelf oud.

    2. Therapeutic Fragrance thanks B been following you keenly for a while now and you are exactly in the same mindset as myself no pain no gain gotta just put noses on the juice make our own assessments and comparisons then and only then through trial and error can we truly find what is or isn’t in our wheelhouse and yeah it costs a pretty penny my friend but it’s a journey of discovery and Italy never reach a destination but who said we’ve got to reach a destination for those who do miss the beauty of the highways and byways of their development and knowledge ????

  4. Different leagues this is something that can't last. These high grade ouds will go away. It's just a special thing to get ahold of whenever possible. There is just not enough to keep this going. Rogue is a smell that went away that he brought back with banned IFRA aroma chemicals. Two different thing both of which I own.

  5. Seeing this for the fourth time, waiting for the perfume.. Today I wear Champagne from Ysl, a little bit feminine but it is an amazing chypre, the oak moss that is here is of better quality than in many fragrances that I have found much more expensive. The flowers and fruit are hyperrealistic, the bubbles at the beginning of the perfume, it is something very special. It may be the last major commercial chypre ever made (1993)

  6. @Therapeutic Fragrance It is special, something never smelled before, a knight's chypre with richness and depth. The wood here is spectacular, I have to spend more time with it, it is the first time I use it
