Fragrance Quick Story This is no Russian musk. That is above and beyond for me. This is aptly named. This is for the coldest of moods. The darkest of days. This is what the old slang calls warming you up. Russian Adam has sneaked info out that he has used even more natural musk in Part II here. I can’t vouch for that have not have had the pleasure with the first. I can update you that in a year I am even more impressed with this. This might be exactly what happened with Russian Musk as it wasn’t as big of hit when released, but just aged and matured like it’s handling it’s own business. What I do know that when you choose to wear this everything gets enhanced at once. The super hero suit that it has sharpens all senses and makes others around you aware of the bubble you are bringing with you. Look at the ingredients above. Amazing line up that AJD gets to play with. I have no problem paying for this quality of juice. We are fortunate he is a distiller for a lot of these special components. We get a heartfelt presentation look at the exquisite script by an artist. That is a crystal cap with I believe brass. When you care that much about your craft every detail is thought through and I can’t find any holes. It’s not fair how good these ingredients are, there is no going back for me. The incense created from sillage is why I keep trekking on this journey. This is truly an enhancement to my life. THERE IT IS SWING WIDE THOSE GATES AND LET EVERYONE ENTER. There is flat out no stopping the aroma and authority you are walking in when you put this on. Time to suit up and be transported to joy. C'mon you know the kind where everyone meets in town circle puts everything aside and celebrates together without abandon. It well gets you uncut out of yeah out of your self. You think with your heart there is no forcing the issue you are compelled. You are getting a Sense of some of the smells of heaven these ingredients want humanity revealed they did there part to help us do ours. It's no mistake we have a nose and no mistake we were giving these rich aromas on Earth. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes Bergamot, mandarin, and lime are crisp and forward in the initial opening. Super spritzy, clean, and fresh. The Indian Mandarin don't know about indian but subtle sweet and we have a citrus top made for the king. The pine comes off clean and toasty. Not a strong smoke flavor. It's just no mistake on the days you get to where Areej Le Dore. It's royalty days. BOOM all natural musk the real deal. Whatever your tastes there is no denying that this is easily one of the top five ingredients in Perfumery. You can get some floral notes but citrus notes have evolved and deepened and are very present. I now am aware what they age like with perfume like Antiquity and vintage Mitsouko and they will happen here as well. There is just a deep forest syrup like none other yes familiar to pines and Cyprus but deep fresh and nothing like that in cleaners. This is deep evergreens in the few of the morning brewing coffee on the fire. The Oud used is subtle. The patchouli is brilliant it's of a sharp poignant varietal. Sandalwood floats in the air soft aromatic light and buttery with that powerful musk note beneath everything the entire wearing. This contains part of the DNA Russian Adam is using in at least one of his line since releasing this one that sort of metallic twang in there. I also sense the base a bit in Ottaman empire as well. Final drydown is a sweet musk in amber form. Must like Musk.

  1. The original Siberian musk is my all time favourite ALD. The SM2 is close while not the same. If i had a few bottles this would be my signature scent. But since i have only one it is for special occasions only????. I have ordered the attar so i am thrilled i can wear it more often!

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance i have a full bottle of SM2 and a decant of the original. I have a bottle of Russian musk too. They are all beauties ????. And with the naturals like musk and ambergris they get only better with aging.

    2. @Jazz JaZzz both are very similar,i would say an 85 % match but the second version top notes are much stronger and last much longer. The first version in my opinion is better rounded and moves to the base faster. I love both though????

    3. @Jazz JaZzz i love siberian musk! It would be my signature fragrance if it werent so scarce and expensive!. Russian musk is a great fragrance not as complex as SM ,it has a fresh aura with an animalic musk base but SM is almost chypre like, a natural more potent cousin of Roja's Diaghilev. So it is SM for me all the way

  2. Can you help me out, can you list few of your highest rated perfumes? i'm really interested in your opinions and after testing so many stuff what is like somthing you cant go without

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance Is Bogue mem something like a Fougere or like natural smelling lavander? I like Lavander in Fougeres but idk if i would get overwhelmed with Mem

  3. Hi bro, awesome review.

Quick question, will Areej Le Dore war and peace 2 expire or get better with time. Just want to know before i buy it.

    Thank you!

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance Which of the two cant you live without? Seen both reviews on sultan leather attar and tiger lust and they're awesome! The sultan leather looks outstanding to what you described it. Also got two samples and they are all boozey at the start

    2. That's a tough question. The attar is the perfect leather when thats all you want. Very masculine. Tigerlust includes that note and so much more, you get a gigantic dose of deer musk. I don't know i can answer that question. Knowing what i know i guess i would start with Tigerlust. Now that you're into thes fragrances make sure they are stored correctly. No hot weather and never in the bathroom.

    3. @Therapeutic Fragrance I think i'm going with tiger lust and the sultan leather. I've heard the crime and punishment is softer with the musk. i have got a few floral ones such as walimah from areej le dore and heritage blend from asq and want something more masculine so the sultan leather would be perfect because its roses with the leather. Would you layer the sultan and tigerlust? It seems they share notes so it could be a good idea? Also i appreciate the extra effort advising me about how to look after them, it means a lot. I store them in a wardrobe which is very dark and they are close together. there is other things around them such as sprays, hair gel and really skin/hair products. Would this affect it?

    4. That's perfect as long as it doesn't ever get super hot or any sunlight. I own the PP in Tigerlust it is quite potent with the leather note, I would always try layering, but it is a complete perfume and includes the Sultan Leather attar notes. I guess if you really wanted a leather punch.
