EXCELLENT FINDINGS ON HERMETICA: INFORMATION RESEARCHED BY AMY LEONHARDT @alienheart on Instagram from YTchannel BlueSalon Qatar as well as website AnOther, I learned that the premise is to be modern in looking toward “clean” “green” sustainability and making it accessible to everyone internationally. They are the faces behind MEMO and Floraiku. They are alcohol-free scents, which means they can ship worldwide from their website–no shipping restrictions. That’s smart. They aim to plant 5,000 trees to offset carbon. They try to help guide customers via a quiz online to match them (by using synaesthetic effects) to scents. Symrise developed Inoscent, which is a process that extracts synthetic molecules from natural materials (a lot of the materials are recycled/reused instead of just the raw material). Now how in the world is that done!? I don’t know. It is supposed to be moisturizing on skin, I guess which makes it last longer, and these molecules appear as a blended “tempo” instead of progressing as top, heart, base. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Really glad they put oils in the notes these spray on like oils. These would all be layering beasts. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes Orange blossom and basil open the fragrance. Right away a familiar patchouli comes forth laid down on a musk that does not go away during the fragrance. More of a musk leaning toward hydrosol vs a white musk. This is a familiar aroma that fans of patchouli would love. Rosemary and Basil are just a slight aromatic I would like to see more to make it a little more interesting. Yeah this is great modern take on Patchouli I keep wanting sweet and I think that’s because I am so used to every house doing it, it is a time where they kept it simple. And kept this fragrance for what it is. Make no mistake this a patchouli take with herbs and musk providing the accentuating notes. Patchouli fans should rejoice especially if you are sick of sweet notes. This is just a green slight animalic take on being surrounded by green everything. Thus Greenlion.
