Fragrance Quick Story Sweet and earthy Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes This gentleman knows how to use rose. He would be welcome in the rose city anytime. Cedar comes through the amber spice brilliantly. You get so many levels of cedar off of the sniff. It is layered and thought out. I can get a good dose of ginger a fresh and vibrant ginger lies underneath the cedar. Geranium plays on top to my nose. Patchouli is there on top. The honey is there in strength. Oh I am waiting for that mushroom. In the heart I get a tad bit of an earthy note. Assuming this is the mushroom note. Ahh but those cedars are divine. I know need my backyard deck build out of as many different cedar woods as possible ohhhhhhh the aroma. I am also making an assumption the light wood note on top I am smelling is the henna this is the third time I have seen this note in a fragrance should be getting used to it. Really the only way I have found to know and learn a note, to fully understand is to acquire the raw ingredient and sniff, sniff, sniff away. The rest on my skin is strong cedar cedar some patchouli I do get some basil here or it become more distinct here. Some spices aromatize. Overal a must try for wood and cedar lovers with modern notes. Much care and thought was taken on blending and composition, a pleasurable wearing.

    1. Saw your video about writing and being a Perfumer. Hope you achieve it. This is a guy to get to know his work both in his writing for fragrantica and his creations. He has taken an impressive path to his art.

  1. My friend, what a joy to watch, thank you so much! I appreciate the depth of your review, it helps to give me an idea of what the experience is like from your side. I'm glad that the cedar(s) read as "real" cedars, because I spent quite a long time trying out different kinds of cedar to arrive at the right ones, it was a true exploration. I think it's perceived as a very humble, non-fancy kind of wood, but damn I love the stuff. Rose continues to fascinate the heck out of me, I think it's a lot more substantial than we think – it can carry a lot of weight in a fragrance! I bow for your kind interpretation, and thank you again for the effort you've spent; great style and please keep reviewing!

    1. Thankyou fo r the kind words. I think you are saying the cedar is synthetic, very nice job on that. I love compositions that can come across the nose like that. Love what you said about rose, it can tame so many different ingredients or "vice versa" l amazed at what perfumers continue to do with it. Always looking forward to what's next friend. 🙂
