Fragrance Quick Story Wow another memory jogged that I haven’t had for a long time. The summer I decided to go to graduate school. Signed up for the tour of facility and a skyrise downtown. They were putting on a show with the automatic blinds and high end presentation facilities this was **** LOL story for another day. But the opening on this brings me back to the reception on that night. I don’t remember thinking of it senses. Once again this fragrance journey is beyond amazing. This is why I keep going and getting propelled to do this study on composition. These are times I need reminded of to move forward and know that forward is better than stagnate, maybe some of you feel me. I have never heard one thing on this fragrance, I was drawn by the notes as anything Yuzu lately has my attention, but that is fading the more I know why it is not heavily used. Patchouli so far has been a perfect aid in this fragrance up to this point. Here comes a little soap and patchouli love. If this doesn’t blow up I will really like this fragrance. My favorite booze notes are bourbon in barrels smoothed out, let’s move into the notes. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes Whiskey does not come across that strong thank goodness it’s my least favorite booze note. It’s there but very airy like I am in it’s vicinity, but far enough away. Getting used to Davana and this is taking the edge off of the whiskey adding a sweeter booze note that is aromatized by the Yuzu and sage. No hints of rose on top always like to try and mention that for rose haters JK you never know if rose will over power a frag or not, that’s why I always emphasize the note throughout the fragrance. Amber is the next note I get in transition I can smell the myrrh against it. Heliotrope and rose do settle into the heart. This is why it is so important to me to review the wearing of a perfume and not the typical test strip or first ten minutes of a fragrance. I wish I could figure out video to share thoughts as they happen and cut down on writing it is tedious but I think very important to any review. The softest of tobacco shows up. Just a light airy summer tobacco. These are might least favorite to smoke, but smell the most pleasing to those around. Drydown patchouli and cedar show up while the boozy all fades. Turns a bit fresh which is not what I am going for when I pick these notes. All familiar dry down combo, not overused as ingredients but would like something different here as a base. It lays down a nice amber on the end as the fragrance wears out. Everything fades and your left with a vanilla. Not in notes but that is what the amber turns into with my nose.

  1. While I don't remember liking this one, 1900 L'heure de Proust is one of the greatest frags I've ever tried! Get a sample, as no one has reviewed it on YT yet.

  2. @Therapeutic Fragrance I got a bottle of this off the back of your video… so glad I did. I'm really enjoying this brand, also have 1900 which, while being quite a bit simpler and developing less over time is my ideal fresh scent with the grapefruit and black tea notes. Beautiful stuff! One of the few lines my gf steals on the regular.
