Very powdery off the top the angelica and nutmeg are very interesting. Something almost makes this apple cider like. A sweet baby oil scent takes over. Very feminine for me off the top. Yeah baby powder to me, sure there is a big market for this I hear a lot of people like this kind of scent just not me so much. I’m gonna let my daughter have this sample see what she thinks. Heart Smell the Ambergris which is nice such a faint hint of oakmoss so far, please poke your head out sandalwood! Yeah it’s like an baby powder phasing out for me. The ambergris adds a little oceanic nuance, but doesn’t really spark through like I would want it to. Same with oakmoss and sandalwood. The base notes listed are some of my favorites they just don’t come into play enough for me to sway this into my realm of fragrances. Also any oriental is very downplayed. I really can’t move past the powdery smell. Maybe we could call this a baby powder incense, but something in hear is dominating just a bit to much for me, maybe the angelica. With the powdery bouquet I incense is present with small hints of wook and oakmoss. There is just a faint bint of the butteriness of sandalwood in there. Overall I would call it a white floral incense drydown.

I was trying to imagine based on your note description, but when you said who you thought you could see wearing this, I immediately was like “Oh, I can totally imagine what it smells like!” Hah. That’s a fun addition to your review.
I get so stuck on the powdery notes keeping them positive. If I go down describing powders to much I feel it goes negative. Sure it's me, but definitely hold back on describing powders. They are like my oakmoss.

I sampled this and fell in love. Its an overtly synthetic/powerbomb that reminds me of beast 'masculines' from the 1980's. It does have that power vibe which tickles my tummy as I Gold Man from Amouage I would bath in if I could.
I have yet to smell Gold man. Yeah Masque Milano let's you wear a perfume and smell yourself, sad that companies are letting this go.
@Therapeutic Fragrance perfume house has an open bottle of Gold Man: old bottle as well so worth walking in for a sniff.
Oh my, I didn't know this existed. I can't wait for tomorrow now, might be Saturday though. Only knew about Fumerie. My nose is drooling over another Portland Gem. I am always down there don't know how I missed it.
