Nawab of Oudh is inspired of central India. The perfume is inspired by the Nawabs who once ruled over it. It is a potent blend of amber and rose with a soft oudh edge. Yet surprisingly not one ingredient stands out from the others. It achieves a perfume synergy that defies traditional analysis, releasing a pulsating pungency, brooding and hauntingly beautiful, a rich tapestry of fascinating depths, a jewelled veil to conceal its emotional complexity and extravagance. Top: green notes, bergamot, orange absolute, cardamom, aldehyde. Heart: rose, magnolia, orchid, pimento, bay, cinnamon, hedione. Base: ambergris, musk, vetiver, labdanum, oudh. The fragrance is available as Eau de Parfum. Nawab of Oudh was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Geza Schoen.

Ormonde house is one of the best houses that you will use for signature scent, nwab of oudh is a green oud that you can use it in any time any season, this my opinion. I am also in love with montbaco from the same house. Thank you for the review ????

I smelled this blind on someone who wanted me to guess what it was. I had never smelled Ormonde Jayne scents, so at first I thought it was a designer scent bc of the rose and florals in the beginning. But then I could pick up the muskiness and spices and an almost dark chocolate impression, oud, oriental interesting mysterious perfume. I really like it (just not the opening) but it is too heavy for me for most of the year where I live. ????
The heaviness is why I think I had these shelved for so long. These pack a punch. Tolu has taken me by surprise so far in this line.
