How? I Apply the Fragrance

3 to 5 sprays

Top: green lemon blossom, neroli, freesia. Heart: tea notes, osmanthus, violet, hedione, rose. Base: mate, benzoin, musk, moss, myrrh. The fragrance is available as Eau de Parfum. Qi was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Geza Schoen. Perfume rating: 3.98 out of 5 with 74 votes. Fragrance Quick Story I initially bought all of these because of this I wanted to see how tea was used in fragrance. I was completely turned off by this when I first started on my journey. This is my second favorite out of all of them as I actually really like the man in the collection. That’s why you fragrance houses these packs help us so much. I am now looking for a possible two to add on my all to big growing list of bottle buys. I just picked up three more off the list this week. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes Lemon hits off not as acidic and bright a lot softer than lemon I am used to. Freesia and neroli really fade it into a soft lemon air that is unique to my nose. The heart notes settle in fast for me as a black tea shows up against an airy osmanthus that only makes the tea scent stronger and more earthy to my liking, mate brings in even more earthiness as I like drinking this traditionally with friends. Matte is it’s own tea not black closest tea family maybe ooh long with a lot more grassy notes with a little soil The floral notes only act as aromatics above the tea and not strong notes that stick to the skin. Benzoin helps cause another transition with light soapy must and some myrrh. Moss doesn’t really show up for me. The whole fragrance is backed by a powerful Ormonde Jayneaide house accord. Those familiar this is one of the strongest accords out there. There perfumes project beastly on my skin and all the notes also show up. So far this is the softest I have had from the house, but still performs strong and creates a powerful sillage. I always wonder how people smell so long after they walk by while I am on a bike, it is because of perfumes like these.

  1. I believe this house uses real floral absolutes and oud oil. How would you describe the OJ accord or DNA? Some say its the overdose of ISO-E Super which makes everything radiant…and i guess project?

    1. ISO-E definitely nice work. They are using other musks as well. Yes they have good ingredients. I cannot speak for the oud. If it was real it was very light handed. I did smell a clean oud accord in nwabh.
