Three to Five Sprays

Fragrance Quick Story Right away this is a unique opening I have never smelled. Now I relax and pull back my shoulders, it’s what I look for in perfume this is the per enjoyment part. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes Oud smoke opens and keeps going in the best of ways. Osmanthus we have talked about before is a resin that is dark sweet and provides airy undertones it is rising the smoke up into something special. Barely pull out the bergamot it is a secondary note in the whiff. Clove is there. Some tobacco plays out rich, maduro tobacco and very dry. The wood smoke holds on this is the kind of incense I burn and it is coming across perfect. The glove leather is there whatever they do to achieve that it smells just like brown leather work gloves. My grandpa go them for free from the railroad and I always had a pair it’s this smell. Used to saffron more now I can tell what it is doing here and it provides aromatics to the smoke that add additional depth and interest to an increasing fume of pure oud incense. Don’t make the mistake of that word incense pure oud incense is expensive and is it’s own experience it is captured in this perfume. The sillage is fantastic I am sure with help from ambergris the smoke is to strong to pull it out, but honestly it doesn’t matter I would wear this as a signature scent. Truffle is an aromatic that is earthy Saffron is an aromatic that heightens everything and adds a drop of sweetness. Cedar wood is an aromatic Ambergris adds some aquatic and slight oceanimalics Clove an aromatic Oud smoke rises on your skin the entire time The glove leather is a heavy base most of the wearing. As osmanthus is the perfect accompanying resin in the oud smoke incense. Amazing wearing a journey, truly a decadent acquisition.

osmanthus, oud wood smoke, white truffles, bergamot rind, clove oil, tobacco, rosebuds, saffron, cedar wood oil, glove leather, gold ambergris

  1. Never knew agarwood incense sticks was a thing. Easier than burning on coals. Cool. Would you say Gilded Age was a winter scent? Is it heavy? Is this the highest you’ve ever rated something?!

    1. Yes the sticks are so much easier. I don't know if all are good, but these are something else.. Maybe don't wear it in the hottest of weather. I would have to test. Funny thing is I don't think I would of ever tried this if I didn't order this with the other five samples. If that's all I smelled I don't think I would of bought more from the house. This even stands out way above the other two in the Fait main line. I believe I have four others on the channel rated above this. I am almost done with the filtering engine to make it easy to sort these out. And will come back and make play lists even more simple for the 90's and above.

    1. The only reason I like this for price at 8ml is how much my incense sticks are. You don't have to apply much and you easily get four hours of Oud smoke bliss on skin. The cost for the incense is very expensive also. See the Areej Le Dore stuff at luckyscent. The rest of the line I can't justify the money to quality one bit
