Fragrance Quick Story You know what time it is. I call this a designer house I wouldn’t call it niche with the distribution it has. So this is my most worn design house in the last year. Very familiar with the aide that Marly built the “Marlaide” The fruit notes that pops off of this accord is like none other they just dance like a disney on ice production, twisting turning, costumes and all. The accord provides an ice rink for natural ingredients to show off. That’s what PDM is for me. I know the accord is built to do this and provide an izonic airy projection to showcase the stars. The stars are the naturals that they pack in their perfumes. Is it possible to build this accord naturally at any expense this is the conversation I would love to have with the chemists developing these products. Or if the perfumers could be challenged to do it at any cost. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes Luxury on top in the form of suede and saffron most people smell leather, but this is not a leather that I am used to I personally would call this more of a suede note that I am getting. The bowl of fruit is gorgeous. Bright green apples and a melody of fruit concoction behind that I want to say grapes and strawberries something like a fruit punch in the form of snapple if you ever drank those. It has been years for me, but reminded of the fruit smell from that drink. It is the prominent note and I have yet to find a note that doesn’t work on the bed of Marlaide. The heart provides a bit of rose and oris not powder or sharpness of jasmine is getting through the fruits still. Waiting to see if they burn off they have stayed longer than any other fruit notes. The vetiver note reveals itself strong in the drydown with cedar and pine notes acting as an aromatic. Fruit does dissipate slowly and your left with a strong vetiver that’s up my alley. Must like that lemongrass and a little green grass smell The leather note shows up here the rest of the wear is a vetiver leather with slight wood aromatics. Amber is faint as the pdm accord last a good 6-8 hours on my skin. Over all great transitions into top, heart, and base. Must love the PDM airy accord most do. Won’t offend anyone. This is the sharp fruit take on the accord. Leather was sligh on my skin in the drydown.
