This opens a bit like Layton at least I got a fairly quick reminder of it, must of been that apple. The resemblance ends fast. I have a feeling we are going to start hearing Reinier a lot more. Well if you are social media you probably know them. Newsflash, But he has an accord. This accord is definitely the “Renierade” It’s metallic front and wet ending is so addicting. I would call this essence of the streets accord. It is very modern very crisp and very straight forward. It’s one of those that I don’t see off putting to anyone. He combines a lot of modern favorites into this and then combines notes that play into his house’s song. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes A perfect fruit bouquet is presented off my skin featuring a green apple with squeezed bergamont with orange blossoms decorating the bowl with a drizzle of honey. Then we go to our garden a pull a sprig of thyme and take the branch and slide the time on top of all of that to add even deeper aromatics. It don’t take long to realize you are under a cypress tree sitting on a cedar bench serenaded with jasmines overlooking an ocean breezing back into you as you take pictures with that special leather strap camera. All those scents are there with the Reineade mixing and wafting away the rest of the day. Seriously you get all of it. This is the soapiest of the four I have tried but I’m okay with it not to soapy. Soap is still taking over like i have discussed with other scents. Thank God for samples. This is the last of the four I have worn and only one that has blown up. Looks like someone is getting this one. This turned into a 10 hour soap bomb flooding out everything else for me. I have talked about this before, this is the only one of the four that has thankfully.

yeah, love that guy's Kisses Rain video. I'd like to spend that much time editing. I could do it. it just is time consuming, and if I wouldn't get a lot of views on 8 hours of work, I'd be pissed.
Ahh. Sometimes a fragrance moves you where you have to.
The top notes on Crystal Rain sound very good as we move into warmer weather. Too bad the mid & base fell apart. You've got me jacked up on samples. I've got a shipment due in today. Byredo: Accord Oud, Oud Immortel Montale: Aoud Night, Aoud Ever, Intense Pepper Tauer: L'Oudh, No.03 Lonestar Memories Memo Paris: Marfa, Moon Fever & The Different Company: Santo Incienso. I bought these from Twisted Lily.
So curious about that L'oudh, please let me know. I own lonestar memories that will let you know how I feel. Have that Santo still have to try it. Nice pickup!!!
SOTD Monserrat by Bruno Fazzolari. Mostly tart sweet pink grapefruit with some green notes. Thx for the review.

Therapeutic Fragrance -Just diving in and so curious to learn. I kind of hoard information (and samples, it seems!). I’m always learning, thanks to reviewers like yourself.
That soapy scent may be from aldehydes used. I get that too from a couple of fragrances out there.
Maybe, I do wear aldehydes a lot. I don't know how many kinds there are. I own some raw ingredient from perfumers apprentice and they don't cause it on my skin. I don't want to, but need to buy synthetic patchouli and ambroxan and play with that on my skin. Fragrances that actually list ambroxan have blown up on my skin so I do think that is an ingredient that does and it is the second most used ingredient in perfume. Actually focusing on doing a huge topic on this with others on the channel, just a little more work to put together than reviews, but important for community in my opinion. I really appreciate the comment as you can see it's the main thing I want to figure out after all this sampling. LOL.
I just tried a sample of Xerjoff's Pikovaya Dama and, right from the opening, I just get soap all the way.
I wonder if the ambergris used on most of these fragrances is a synthetic vs a natural form, since it is not cheap.
Ambergris is on my list also. The two I have don't blow up, but I don't have one of the main synthetics used as ambergris replacement.
