Still can’t put my nose on it, but something in Vegas is bringing memories of this. Maybe lonestar memories This is tough guy old school. Staying with a signature bright opening. Crisp. Thought this was going to turn ambroxan soapy. It did turn, but the tobacco came to the front as a second in a show. With a spicy dust old fashioned clean whiff behind. Again he is playing with classics putting his touch on them. This is that old school flavor that so many crave and wish would come back. Dry down keeps the same town everything from heart is still there just way mellowed out. Tobacco stays with oakmoss. It’s an old fashioned kind of dirty I can see this being a cult favorite. If you are into Tobacco this is different enough check out for yourself. Also has something in it making it fresh that I particularly don’t care for. Great tricks here from opening to dry down. Of course a freshness he keeps using that this one could do without. Im sure it's part of his base that is a key to his longevity. Turns into a nice moss wood on the skin that lasts quite awhile. What would it be like if this guy makes extraits. The dry Oriental spice stays. All sweet dry Oriental spices

  1. Bought samples based on wafts from a loft too. Amazing creations and the owner Manuel Cross is so professional. Great things coming from this brand !

    1. Let me know how it goes. Of the three I only currently have Chypre-Siam. If you like Chypre's this will be a love in your collection. Just a good old school formulation that the market is missing. Wouldn't mind Tabac Vert at all. Somehow my sample of Le Canotier got lost still haven't smelled this one.

  2. Thank you so much! ive been floating in the world of niche for a couple of years, so few frags do anything for me. I recently went to Swiss Arabian and Rassasi, very nice and reasonably priced Aouds. I decided to follow your advice, I ordered a couple of bottles from Areej Le Dore and this am I ordered 40 Rogue and Tabac vert. I am ready to start a new journey in the world of Ouds.

  3. Great review, ive liked a lot, this, it reminds me of Guerlain derby, I also recommend, Paul kiler at pk perfume, with his maderas de oriente oscuro.. You must try it!
