Fragrance Quick Story

Sure the opening is electric.  I am flat out trying this because Ambroxan is listed.  I am working on a special for the channel that is going to take a lot of research based on skin chemistry.  We in the fragrance community have a service to people to talk about this because it’s freaking obvious perfume houses won’t put money towards this educating us.

Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes

A citrus opens this up not listed but it does.  I would put it in the form of lemon yuzu. It’s smell comes off superdry.  The top lasts for a good hour not polarizing at all the woods are soft ambroxan in check.

Heart transitions into wood notes.  Never blows up. Really never becomes any kind of special wood for me either.  All notes are soft with a dusting of nutmeg. Not much to it. Surprised not an EDT or less the way it performs after opening.  Iris does a little, cedar does a little, oak does a little. Kinda underwhelming for my wear.  

If your into soft skin scents might be your electricity.

Branding wood, that splinters as it’s heated: Electric Wood is energy moving through a bad conductor to great effect. Hot cedar, under a drizzle of iris and nutmeg, is a shock waiting to happen. Oak and ambroxan collide and freeze, two elements better in unison then they were alone. After all this high voltage action, and ooze of hydrocarbonresin rolls in, fossilizing the fractious action. Intended as an homage to the electric guitar, Electric Wood conveys the wiley, screeches of the instrument as much as it’s deeper, softer strums. Spray and be stirred by the reverberations.
