Rose is a very dangerous ingredient to play with. In this case the name plays into it for some. But it’s so powerful in this fragrance rose should almost be included in the name. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes Sweet opening. Fragrance plays like a tea. More Japanese of nature. It’s soft aromatic of alluring feminine scents. There is citrus and crispness on top of everything for a second. Rose hangs off in the background and makes its way known rather quickly. Rooibos is a present scent the whole time while everything else comes in and out. It’s nice sweet aromatic and earthy. It gives of whiffs of airy woods notes all why remaining a tea tincture or concoction off of the skin. The suggestiveness of the tea is all there this feels like a steeping experience. As the heat of your skin plays with the oils opens up a nuances of the notes as they were coming from a kettle of hot water. 30 minutes in Rose comes up aggressive. And smells like a rose candy. This is a rose that dominates and it’s presence is known. The sweet fades and becomes straight up red rose at this point. I don’t get the truffle wish I did I think that is smart but dangerous here. Cedar comes through my guess is an Atlas. Cedar and rose are a great combo in my opinion and provide a great foundation for the Rooibos to fade away during the wearing. Fans of tea specifically Rooibos you might have a signature scent.
