Citrus introduces the oakmoss and then oud. Both of the latter are played out the entire fragrance. Slight rose is noticed here, beginning the touches of Eastern infusion with soft sweet woods. Heart notes of oud beg to take center stage and give way to pushing up metallic-like florals of violet and lavender. A little smoke and touch of camphor and a dried ozone oud and oakmoss fade out slowly on skin like the winding fire of the night. A true Malaysian-infused chypre that is belted around with oud. This is the Taha I know; highlighting all the classics yet putting his Malay fingerprint on things. Restrained and high class; this is another for the books. The base of white ambergris, oakmoss, and oud is a mattress I want to spend the rest of my life on. This is an overall clean chypre that bubbles its way to the top of the category in the fragrance chain.
