//////////////////REVIEW UPDATE.............. I have been deciding how to handle this it is a small thing, but I am trying to do everything in step on this fragrance journey and letting the world watch. I totally missed the note on mimosa being a flower in this video. I could take it down, but the error is human and I am here to show all sides of this journey. Anyways I actually got a DM from a subscriber, that was so refreshing. They pointed out my error privately and let me decide how to handle rather than shout it out in comments. I am going to leave the error. I will be ordering mimosa and learning the note as I have with many other flowers and add it to my palate. This person also gave me great reading on the flower going above and beyond. The suggestive power of the word mimosa is strong. I know frankincense can give off a slight citrus note, I still feel the very top had something like that. I can find no mention of aldehydes, but the very top did feel really bubbly in a way. Maybe before alcohol burned off. Anyways have a laugh and thanks for doing this with me. --- B \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Okay guys I know I’m late to the bandwagon on Papillon. And Anubis is well loved, but all that in consideration I can’t adjust scoring because of peer pressure. If it comes down to that this just isn’t real and I’m feeding you garbage. I have a commitment to be my authentic self through this and give my real view no matter what. I am sick of reviewers doing this for anything but being real. So here we go another Papillon. Very nice sweetness off the top before powder starts to show up. This is a good blend with great care not to late the orris take over. Just a nice soft floral. It does this very well. If you are missing this genre from your collection this is a great modern take on floral with just the smallest touch of oriental flare and a very nice soft cedar note hanging around. Soft delicate powerful if it needs to be. The aldehydes fuzz around when you put them up to your nose just like a strong carbonated beverage. A powder I can put up with. You can tell great care was put into the blend so as not have it fade one way or the other. Enjoyed the drydown.
