Holy moly! This thing is coming at you like a first round from Mike Tyson. It is swinging and connecting. This is one of the boldest openings I have smelled. This is like the new signature drink of a hot spot in Vegas; everything is punchy. The orange is condensed, and the rosemary is smoked. And a whiskey stiffly poured is right there, along with condensed dried fruit and spices. The dark chocolate and civet form a unique animalic gourmand note.
In the heart, the orange and rosemary fade, but this stays stiff and boozy. This is the drink you want around your in-laws, full of all the stuff you love but don’t want to count the calories; this is loaded. This gets a little fresh with some civet animalics in the drydown.
