When to wear: anytime as long as your into incense. Incense for me is usually evenings reading or something like that Anubis Notes Suede, jasmine, pink lotus, immortelle, olibanum, myrrh and saffron. FRAGRANCE Very awesome top A little saffronic leather. Some floral I can see going into the Egyptian Tombs into this. Very manly in the desert kind of way. Heat brought out a smoke probably birch tar and fragrance went incensy after that. Very incense dry down. I like it it’s a dry crisp incense accord. A nice floral off the top. If your into resins this one would be worth checking out. I like the touch of florals wish they were a little stronger. As far as incense scent there are so many to compete with out there. Hyde by Hiram Green is my current favorite. If this were on sale I could see going for it, but at this price level I already have this one in my collection not much new to bring to the table. I don’t want to take away from the scent. It’s nice I like it, I think it just needs that good old fashioned house accord to separate it from the pack and make me want an incense from Papillon.
