Fragrance Overview

One of the first bottles from the house.  Very different from everything else except for the Slumberaide.  This is what a modern Viking would be wearing.  The guy that still slays and labors during the day, but has a fancy place to come home to and shower up.  It’s both versions of that guy in this juice.

Fragrance Review

You are going to get the aroma of forest from spraying this.  Every time I wear it, I want to tell myself to smell pine, but it is not pine that I ever get.  It’s super rich moss and oakmoss with fern and different forest aromas.  The notes call it fog-cake needle, and it is a smell I get in the woods, but, again, no pine. There is a smokiness in the background.  No notes refer to this, but I pick it up.  Again, this is one of the darkest, deepest oakmosses I have in a bottle.  This is an oakmoss bomb.  Yeah, it got the bomb title.

The hemlock in here is the surprise ingredient, and against that in-your-face fresh, strong, unique slumberhouse DNA is a twist in just the right direction of some funk.  Pissy, dark green funk.  Very pungent greenjust look at the juice.  The smell is in the color.  What comes out of the bottle is not what you’re left with at all.  Halfway through the wearing, about four hours in for me, there is a yin and yang transition.  This thing dies down to an incense for the next three to five hours and becomes just that, leaving almost every trace of the former notes.  A magic trick.

Overall, this is a fresh breath in the winter forest, providing that air on you throughout whatever you find yourself doing in the day.

Includes the punk DNA that Slumberhouse is built upon.
