When the Sultan tells you this is a combination of his techniques he has done in some of my favorite attars I am all ears I could almost put this on my pancakes with the beauty this opens up in syrup form and that would be a tobacco syrup I’m buying at my local food corp Vintage strength in a modern era Was Pasha a tobaccanist in another lifetime. This guy plays with tobacco smell as good as the Fuente’s do with tast. That’s a huge freaking compliment By the way. From Sultan Pasha: For this composition I’ve revisited techniques used in the followin bestselling compositions namigly: Aurum D’Angkhor, Irisoir, Tabac Grande, Moonlit Reverie amongst others. By creating this extremely complex composition I wanted to pay homage to everything I’ve learnt thus far and apply them in to one single composition to explore the possibilities...... this is the final result Tabacaurum Notes: Top Iranian Saffron, jasmine Sambac, Orange blossom , oriental tobacco Middle Osmanthus absolute, Virginian Tobacco, orange blossom absolute, tuberose absolute, ylang Ylang, Carnation, Orris Butter, Cambodian Oud Base Burley Tobacco, sandalwood Mysore, Honey absolute, Siamese benzoin, Hindi Oud, white ambergris, natural Ambrettolide isolate Fragrance Quick Story First time I wore it I really thought this was another pipe tobacco fragrance. As with most Sultan Pasha’s time and familiarity are key. There is a reason I took a year to go through the samples. You think I would be good at it. But what makes one good is to admit when you need more time. It probably frustrates people by now they see the pictures on Instagram, but it takes me quite awhile to get a video up. This is no game not here for I’m the first. I am here to make sure I give my real opinion. And some of these fragrances just need many wearing to fully understand and put words to. I still learn things later but even in just the five wearing rule the review is so much more rich like the time spent on these compositions that it would be if I reviewed after one wearing. You are going to hear this a lot from me. Sultan Pasha is a flat out Tobacco genius. It’s one of the main things I learned going through the samples in front of all of you. He does tobacco flat out better than anyone PERIOD. I am not just talking about a hit composition. I am talking about playing with the facets and letting the leaf work in so many distinct ways with familiar ingredients. BOOM said it, stand by it. This is something that is going to age so well, I have many cigars over ten years and they age and melt into materials exceptionally well. The oil in this will do the same. This smells all natural every time I wear it. I can’t pick out any synthetic that are being used for projection and longevity. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes That sweet saffron air backed by a few tobaccos light handed pipe and blonde tobacco notes. Spices aromate (new word, c’mon websters give it to me) Some of the oud really just pushes these notes and really sit down and give a platform for everything to work on. People turned off by oud this one is safe, don’t let the Hindi note scare you away. A tang from the jasmine and soft nuances of orange blossom that really give this that syrup affect I opened the video with. The Heart: Syrup fades Saffron air stays with more florals blooming out in the air. There is kind of a tobacco powder or dust that develops on skin. The attar dries up a bit as it opened really sticky. A little nuances of carnation, oud, mysore, and orris combine to really give this a unique accord that sits with the tobacco. The tobacco while not linear it’s like smelling a nice fresh cigar or cigars in a humidor the closer to skin or cigar the more pungent. Yet the fume stays in both circumstances yet that tobacco volume get’s messed with. So depending what you like you can have a lot of fun applying this one. Dries down to a unique Honey tobacco after dryness leaves the fun effect it fades back to the syrup feel sweet airy with a honeyed tobacco. TRANSITION FLOW OR LINEAR ACCORD
