This is my first Frassai. The smell on this thing is unreal. Sultry, salty, with a perfect dose of sweet, drenching-yourself-in-it caramel. I received a tester from someone who has become a dear friend, and right away I was speechless. I had to put this down and get away from it. It evoked emotion that I have been trying to run from for years and years. I have buried it to become a man. To become what society said I was supposed to be. Early on, I went the opposite of all this nonsense conformity thinking. I am used to people thinking I am weird, only to find the things I do end up being accepted and followed eventually. From my knee-high socks to my flannels, I have deep, thought-out reasons why everything makes it into my life. It’s certainly not because I saw someone else do it. That doesn’t work; I am not happy with that. So in my personal search for happiness, I have still buried some real raw emotions. This fragrance brings back innocence. It evokes first love for me. Something I have locked down and cemented in what I thought was forever. But putting this to nose, instantly a beautiful vine poked up through the cement and all the cages. It was being fed and things got healed. I wore this fragrance on my birthday, and if you know how many options I have, that makes it really special. I can’t see anything replacing it. I was brought back to that fateful summer where I did the stupidest of things, and no one could tell me differently. I never wanted to act like that again, never, yet we have a perfume showing me how full it makes the soul.

Bought Tobacco Nuit and haven’t worn it yet.Awesome list my friend.A lot of fragrances I need to get my nose on.
Whenever you are wearing the funky stuff and know your wife hates it try putting Tobacco Nuit on top it has worked with me on some occasions as my wife hates all my strong stuff. Sounds like were in the same boat on that one. In this list I think Hyde is the one you would appreciate most just from what I have seen from you so far.
To the New Year and the Journey.
Therapeutic Fragrance I’ll give it a look brother.Im gonna try that Tobacco Nuit layer combination also.Keep up the great work and have an amazing 2020.
Loved this video Brandon. A great concept and appreciate you putting them all in the description! I gotta get back to looking into Hiram Green. And definitely on board with Guerlains on discounter. They're already going up, but a few months ago, I got another bottle of Vetiver edt for less than 20 bucks. Heritage for 30. Unbelievable value. Here's to the classics and indie innovation!
Thanks!!! I have to pick up vetiver still always get distracted when I go for it. I have the 2017 version of habit rouge dress code. It is one of the best I own. I think I ended up paying 40 for it.
Great list Brandon! Surprised you prefer Mem to Maai, and also how come Mousse didn’t made it to the list? ????
Hey Rafael, For the category of best ingredient I don't know of anything that could beat what Mem did for lavender. That being said Maai and Mem are both equally loved. The two Maai was almost chosen was best overall composition and best Chypre, but gave my reasons for choosing what I did. These all score high and are loved by me. Mousse I actually don't own a bottle of I really wish I would of bought that over forger L'aube.
Awesome, thanks for replying. Mousse is miles better than L’Aube, I actually got rid of L’Aube since I found it uninspiring
Just took 4 of your suggestions and added them to my luckyscent order for samples… I own slowdive I get the most photo realistic honey ever
Which four so curious. If Kolonya must be applied heavy probably only two wearings in a ls sample
@Therapeutic Fragrance kolonya, mem, hyde and I'll have to look the other
And les anees
Keep in mind les knees has different ingredients in it, but keeps some of last year's version as well. I haven't tried but really want this one.
Teisenddu always knocks my socks off????
sending love!
It's the sweet love of my collection:)
@Natalia O ❤❤
@Therapeutic Fragrance ????????
I think for SP attars, you’re referring to Moonlit Reverie
I absolutely was, thanks for the update. Can't believe I did that.
Happy 2020! Thank you for selecting @frassai Teisenddu as Best Composition of 2019. So excited it's a joy for you to wear it. Best wishes for the new year.
Hey Natalia Happy New Year. Was my birthday fragrance and just can't picture anything else as a whole. Here's to rocking in 2020!
@Therapeutic Fragrance <3 thank you! Looking forward to 2020
I need to step my attar game up.
@Therapeutic Fragrance
I'll look into it. Happy New Years. Thanks!!!
@Therapeutic Fragrance
He has a sample pack with 29 samples ???
Yes that's the one. It is some of the best stuff out there. My favorite sample pack I have purchased. I am still going through it and trying to decide what I want.
@Therapeutic Fragrance
Beast mode is the norm with these.
Yeah a lot of these are strong you only need one swipe to test if you like it or not.
MEM is my no 1 to date. MAAI is good too.
MEM in my opinion is already a classic composition. It's up there with LDDM in my opinion. As far as timeless, original, and stands on it's with the thousands of options available.
Slowdive was just awful on my skin…..beeswax and nothing else
Have you don't Bengal Rouge yet? That is a beeswax bomb for me. I just happen to love it. Beeswax does come out stronger on my skin as well, something to look into.
Great review and loved to see your breakdown of categories, nicely done 🙂
John, thanks you so much. This is your month, Best wishes for 2020!!!
Rogue is unbelievable, I ordered on Jan 5th and received in Lauderhill Florida today? What do I do with my 80 bottles of niche? Shameful how good and reasonable their 50 mil bottles. The Tabac Vert meets all my tobacco needs. Brandon, your going to cause another sell out. My Russian Adam I am perched on my porch!
Nice Mike. Glad you got those. Whatever you do don't watch the Emperor Hind video. I was floored that excitement was all real in that video.
Ensar's stuff is tops.
Absolutely I don't think I have ever been disappointed from him. He just knows hot to distill and acquire oils.
@Therapeutic Fragrance Agreed. You get what you pay for.
Man I really loved this video, you really know your stuff, and I love all the categories you came up with and the choices you made. You’re immediately one of my fav reviewers now!
Really appreciate this Sean. 2020 is on the way.
I took a chance on blind buying a nearly full Teisenddu on ebay, and I was not disappointed. Even for a beginner with a poor nose, it's quite easy to pick out the black cake and other elements. You could almost eat the stuff.
Yeah it reminds you of some really good baking! Glad you got a bottle.
