You are absolutely right about that. I played nice on this one. And I really have been craving some mean dark scents lately. Even my craving for Oud Luwak surprised me.

Waiting for those bortnikoff samples too, but I believe that Russian Adam will end up collecting the big bucks from me ( new collection next month!!!) Also waiting for samples from pekji and a bottle of brindaban from aggarwood Assam ( an Indian attar in spray form , nikhil from exotic scents and Juan from hueleme mucho had reviewed it). This fall I'll be wearing Siberian musk part two Russian oud ,oud luwak, mem, l'air du dessert marocain, kiste, new york intense , royal oud p.s eo1 isn't available anymore unfortunately.

I do think we will see a return of EO1 as well. I wish Ensar would be clear on batch variation so we could all report on that. As the Oud and other rare naturals will differ each time. the EO Pure Parfum with the Ambergris carrier is THE ONE to have. If ever you can get it, I highly recommend!
I can't agree more and I bet next release will be even better I hope. Have to burn through this bottle first. For fun I have swiped on an Ambergris saffron tincture I have and it adds a ton of depth and air to my wearing of EO1. It's rare we have perfumes that get better with reformulations, kudos to Ensar for his passion on putting his best foot forward to bring this to us.
@Therapeutic Fragrance I have EO1 EDP and fell in love. Then I got Sultan Leather Attar and was blown away. Then, when I heard that he was releasing EO1 with Ambergris as the carrier I just had to get it. I find that the EDP is great for year round wearing, and has different facets come out in each season. The Pure Parfum, however, shines in colder weather. I will have to sample the fragrances that you named in this video, as we have similar tastes. I am leaning towards Bogue Maai. By the way, if you have not yet sampled Bortnikoff's Oud Maximus, I highly recommend. Whereas EO1 is animalic perfection, Oud Maximus is ethereal heavenliness.

I definitely will. I am doing a more affordable classics list also will include price on those. These are personally what I have bought and would recommend.

A list with no weaknesses.. although I would add 2-3 jams to that… Aeon(perfumer is Antonio Gardoni), Digitaria Black(perfumer Spyros Drosopoulos) and Resina(perfumer Oliver Valverde). I am almost sure that you would like the three of them 😉

Don't think this year will be as crazy as last, but a lot of gems I bought literally a week after I made this list.
