95 30ML EDP UK 2017 Brooklyn Notes Bergamot, squeezed lemon, orange juice, incense, cardamom, fresh air, ozonic notes, magnolia, orris root, transparent flowers, musks, white woods, benzoin, amber. Squeeze that lemon what does that mean it works. Cities are a deep love of mine I can get lost in each and every one finding redeeming qualities and lost charm. Seeing things forgotten and left behind by the mass coral of trends. I think my hold off to Gallivant is I just don’t make the connection to the cities and fragrances. I have been to brooklyn. I buy a lot of Artisan stuff from Brooklyn makers. This fragrance does not come across at all for me as Brooklyn. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes They really got this to open crazy the lemon is super sour with bergamot holding it’s own note on top of it. Some kind of juice feel shows up I can’t say it’s orange. This top holds on for a good hour very great though by the perfumer making this citrus open like this. Heart shows up in the form of Myrrh and powder notes from white florals. Very gentle ozonic notes so far. Musks are white and soft with no soapy notes so far. Starting to really appreciate perfumes for this. Wow this turn into powder on the arm in the drydown.

Thank you for explaining who your Andre was! Lolz yes Brooklyn-9-9. Are you going to review Tokyo? What notes would you have preferred for a scent based on Brooklyn?
Such a great question. Let's see we can take Brooklyn a couple of directions. The Brooklyn I have visited old big bustling city overlooking it's big brother Manhattan. Would need some metal, water, something dirty. Would probably go heavy herbs to open as there are many rooftop gardens. The Brooklyn of the makers I know from online. Awesome farmers market to draw many spices from, hard working goods sold to stock brokers of leather, rich woods, $800 for a specialty knife you have to wait over a year for. So spicy market opening backed with leather and rich woods with burnt metal. Just shooting off the top of my head having fun.
This fragrance doesn't represent any of the five boroughs of NYC. LOL.
Thanks for commenting this. Hopefully Gallivant will give explanations of the inspiration for these. I haven't found them as of yet but will post on description when I do. Cheers
