Mellifluence Nagaon Oud 2018

It has a beautiful, deep, earthy profile. It is not overtly barnyard and has a clean, slightly chocolaty aroma. There are soft nuances of a floral element, but this is overall a heavy Indian Oud scent. This particular Assamese Oud has a refined edge on the average Assam oud, the delicate and intricate elements that develop give it a very interesting character. The oud was distilled from fairly young trees and is a young agarwood oil, it’s scent will improve greatly over time, but already it has a beautiful fragrant and rich Indian oud smell. Tajul Bakshi runs an agarwood distillation project in Nagaon selling small batches of agarwood oil, chips and saffron.
