Fresh Palo Santo opening. I can kinda tell this might go south
Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes
Bergamot Petitgrain and Nutmeg just as promised have seen it before hits perfect here. What’s different?
Seriously not a surprise opening is what it is. Nothing special for me pleasant, but at this point in perfumery I want more at these prices. If you jump over a dollar there is a demand in my opinion for something unique. Honestly this whole perfume composition I have had as a top in others and then it fades into a drastic transition. That’s what I am looking for in my collection and these prices. There are better blends to me at the .70 cents mark.
Heart goes a tad fresh for a summer light scent. Citrus lasts into heart. Drydown is a soft incense of myrrh and white mus. The santo and cedar are commonplace and remain pretty linear the entire wearing. For a wood based fragrance I am looking for something entirely different. Elements were there, but it felt to synthetic and clean for what I want out of a palo santo fragrance I burn the stuff all the time and it is lovely fresh smoky and mysterious. The smoky and mysterious are my favorite parts and could not find them in this composition.
For me they missed the mark on what they branded and messaged to a wood lover like me.

I agree with you on the drydown, and it doesn’t smell real. But I enjoy the opening as its own scent (not a palo santo scent per se).
