Fragrance Quick Story

First thoughts were unveiled to you all without me seeing anything but the product page, which has no clear list of notes. This left me speechless, and it still does when I first apply.  Everytime it makes me Selah.  Really take notice about life and what’s important.  It’s not money; it’s the stuff you take with you after this short-lived life.  That, my friends, is the life well lived. Eo1 + Eo2 + other special materials from the EO arsenal. This is your ancestors’ perfume.  When you read in the Bible that Mary poured a year’s salary worth of perfume over Jesus, this is the stuff I imagine was poured.  Just the best ingredients from the earth. There are no apologies here; you are applying the fur coat on yourself here.  The Beast with essences of the treasures of Earth. Treasures few ever get to smell individually, let alone put together expertly in one perfume.  The first thirty years of my life, I never knew essences like this existed on this planet. This literally is like taking the red pill and awakening to the real world.  Please take no offense if you are one of these people, and if you are, you at least need to get this in your nose vocabulary. But I hear a lot of perfume consultants behind the counter talk about ingredients as if they’re real.  I don’t know why my nose is so sensitized to synthetics, but they scream at me. I have only seen this effect in pregnant women and super sensitive people who get headaches from smells. I can smell the notes, but I can tell they’re fake.  The consultants describe them as if they’re real. They took the blue pill and are living inside the Matrix. It blows my mind how perfect the anaolgy is here. Fans of these powerful ingredients get exactly what I’m saying. As IFRA keeps picking them off one by one, it gets sadder and sadder.  The latest shot is at jasmine, which is used in more than 80 percent of perfumes. I can easily tell you which ones IFRA would do next. They do it “for your health” and definitely not for the millions of patents on synthetics.

Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfume’s Notes

The musk form a musk.  The opening makes me speechless every time.  I get citrus on the very top of the perfume. A bright pepper citrus that screams the color red.  A beating heart starts to pulsate olfactory aromas you could only dream of. If you can stay with this, with that lovely musk, you are rewarded the whole way to grandmother’s house.  This is the adventure; through the woods to grandmother’s house we go. Super bright fruity notes Realistic living leather Realistic living animal You are in the woods I said EO1 is my bar for leather.  Well, meet the new bar. This is like a breathable leather.  The leather sniff in this is so raw and fresh, it’s unbelievable.  If you ever opened fine leather, it fills the room. This is what smelling Tigerlust is like.  Behind the leather are bright spices that are a signature of the house. For me, this is two perfumes in here in one wearing, with more even added.  In my scent bubble, it smells like EO1, but close to the skin, it smells like EO2. The base of the perfume creates an entire bed for a bouquet of florals to come forward.  In this dark juice, there are colorful vivid kodachrome florals in the ocean air. Breathe deep, and you will get their indolic vibe.  Sit back and bask, and you will get each of their aromatics singing lullabies to you. Blackcurrant binds the sweet orris and I swear some rose and jasmine.  Not a trace of powder to my nose but it’s more of a sharp metallic anchored floral smell. What are facets of notes. Specific transitions TOP: Leather with aromatics of Blackcurrant and osmanthus in ocean air.  Top notes of clean oud, air of ambergris, Civet doses of Civet. HEART: Spices lots of nuanced spices.  I can’t pull them out just like with EO2 Rose, Jasmine, and a plethora of well blended spices.  Saffron feels like saffron and aromatics float around your body. BASE: The EO2 drydown—this is just a surreal deer musk that sits on the skin for quite some time.  I am so laughing at people complaining about longevity; are they testing off of watered-down decants?  This thing easily wears for more than twelve hours on my skin, and my skin has a tendency to soak up the sauce. Overall, this is breathing life, and it is something you enjoy with every smell.  It lives on your skin and brings you into divine air space.

    1. LOL I will get a sample in due time. You can't play that game it get's you in trouble. TigerLust was too similar for me to blind buy again. It's an improvement and my review was based on the juice alone. I am able to separate that. But for my wallet this completely replaces EO1. What I appreciate about Ensar is that he keeps improving his composition, so I am content on waiting for the next. Somehow these scents always have a way of finding me also part of living life differently.

  1. Your advice to get the 9 mil was the best lea I ever receive in the fragrance world. Prices out almost the same as the 30 mil. Fantastic juice, did I tell you I love it? yes.Other you tubers didn't know what I was talking about 8 weeks ago. Thanks again Brandon

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance Sorry about the typo, the best lead or advice I ever received on fragrances. The untold story is that these beauties get better with age. Try that with a synthetic!

  2. Once you have experienced this kind of excellence in natural perfumery, it is impossible to go back to synthetic based perfume. There is a smell in those that pervades and overtakes, and it is nauseating. It smells the same no matter what perfume name, perfume house, perfume nose. I never noticed it before I was introduced to Ensar, Areej, Bortnikoff, Teone Reinthal, Dixit & Zak…… But after experiencing the artistry in all of their work, everything pales in comparison…. and dreadfully so. That modern perfumery smell is maybe the smell of modern mankind: overhyped, overpriced, and lacking in soul.

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance Yes sure do. But apparently it's not there lol, according to the latest EO email for C and P. I guess there are certain things/ ingredients that stand out as common for all the EO Parfums so far. Huge EO fanboy here but I find myself pining for something new/different.

    1. Mazhar I get about ten hours off my skin and I alway spray some on the wool shirt I am wearing which lasts into the next days. There have been reports of bad longevity but everything I can tell is that those are from decants. BE CAREFUL ON DECANTS. This juice is easy to cut in half and still have it smell beautiful but longevity would suffer. Hope this helps. All of Ensar's Pure Purfums are the longest lasting all naturals I have.

    1. Please report how the edp is. Wondering about longevity specifically. I'm sure the perfume is going to be awesome. Yeah I am glad he did the edp the Pure perfume price point is actually a little much. Glad everyone is getting the slick leather pouches as well.

  3. So happy to have discovered your channel! Top notch mate! Quick question… Is the difference between the edp and pp still the ambergris concentration? I'm thinking of getting the edp version. Have you tried it?

    1. EDP just came out. I wouldn't be seeking it out at all as I love the thick stuff as is. He hasn't given much info on this at all. The only one I know for sure that is ambergris tincture is EO1 PP.

    2. @Therapeutic Fragrance Thanks mate. I spoke with Adam today. He told me the only difference is that the edp is 20% ambergris and the pp is 40%. Everything else is the same. I decided to go with the edp. I'll let you know what I think. Cheers!

  4. Just got my hands on a 9.5ml of Tigerlust and C&P. I already own EO1 2019 PP and Tigerlust is Fantastic… wow! I love the enhanced depth and development that it adds to EO1.

C&P might be an "instant love" for the musk lovers out there but I'll need to spend more time with it to really appreciate it.

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy the 50ml bottle of C&P!!!
I know that I'm not nearly as experienced as you are and cannot appreciate it in the same way so I'm keeping it around to revisit over a period of time. However, this is NOT like EO1 and Tigerlust; not even close, it's a whimsical and underwhelming musk perfume. It would be quite disappointing to drop $800 for some light musk fragrance that whispers it's little raspberry accord here and there.

      A 9.5ml is a much safer buy 🙂

  5. Hi, great review! I just received my edp of tigerlust , I like it in my first impression but I think I will need more time to appreciate more … to which Bortnikoff fragrance you can compre this one ? Do you think Bortnikoff gets to this level of musk and quality??

    1. I don't know of any Areej or Bortnikoff this compares too. Ensar is about heavy heavy deer musk. More so than any other perfume I have. Only attars come close to the drenching you get with Ensar. Musk like I try to mention isn't for everyone, but it does grow on you, it does only get better with age. And it's just an animalic that shouldn't of been taken away from perfume. I have smelled it in vintage Guerlain and that is also some of my favorite compositions.

  6. Hi, thanks for the great review video
I am new to natural perfumes and ensar oud what do you recommend which one is best
    TigerLust EDP
    EO No. 1 EDP
    Thanks again

  7. Would have liked to have tried TL but I went with C&P from Ensar. First time smelling any of his EDPs and all I can say is WOW. The fragrance screams of quality! Rich, deep and full.. never smelled anything like it other than Sultan Pasha Attars but this might be on another level. I got the Eud de Parfum version and 1 spray on my neck lasted the entire day! It is a powerful fragrance and should be sprayed with some respect. Does is smell mass appealing? I would definitely day "no" but good lord is it alluring and intoxicating.

  8. The Eud de Parfum version is powerful! One spray lasted all day. I could actually see a single stand of dear musk hair floating in my bottle along with fine sediment of ambergris! I can't imagine Ensar making much of a profit on this fragrance considering just how much these materials should cost, truly must be a work of passion. Thank you Ensar for bringing us this treasure.

    1. Haven't smelled C&P. From what I know Tigerlust is more for me. The leather note is surreal, it's one of the best things Ensar does. I would rather have that than the fruits in C&P. Both I hear have similar dry down.

    1. True Story: I had my friend apply with warning. He went three soft sprays. After chatting with me he walked on the other side of the building where his wife was. She went for her baby and ran to the back of the room with tears. Just telling you stories of truth.

  9. Hey Brandon, just picked this up… man what a journey this takes you on! I get more animalic notes and oud right out the gate and then the citrus hits me and it mellows into these awesome florals with that lingering oud sitting in the backround! Love it. Keep up the great work! Btw, I picked up Dendera and Hyde based on your reviews. Love them both.
